Create website shortcut on desktop
Create website shortcut on desktop |
Hello friends, Today the information that I am going to give you will be very useful for you, you will often have created a shortcut of a file / folder on the desktop, but today I am going to tell you how to create a shortcut of your favorite website on your desktop. Only by double clicking on the shortcut on the desktop you can open the site without entering the name of the browser, it is a very simple process,
First right click on your desktop, go to New and select shortcut,
This will open the Shortcut Wizard
If you do not know the name, copy the name of the website written in the address bar of your internet browser by pressing ctrl + c and paste it in shortcut wizard by pressing ctrl + v. Then click on Next, which will bring this window in front of you.
Yes, you have to name your shortcut, as if you are creating Google's Shortcut, then you can write Google here, so that you can identify the shortcut which site this shortcut belongs to. Then please click on Finish.
So this is how Shortcut will appear on your desktop. Now just double click the mouse on this shortcut and your Google site will automatically open in front of you.
You can add one more thing to it, if you want, you can also make a shortcut for shortcut i.e. keyboard shortcut, for this you will have to right click with the mouse on the shortcut and select the properties.
Which will open the shortcut's custom window
Now you have to click on the Web Documents tab, here you will get the shortcut key option, click the mouse in the box, and suppose to press any button from the keyboard. Suppose I had to make a keyboard shortcut for Google, so I only used Pressing the G button, the Shortcut key is automatically generated here, Ctrl + Alt + G means Ctrl, Alt and pressing g with the keyboard will also open the site automatically.
You can also change its icon by going to the Change icon option.
